x-marks the pedwalk announces new album autumn 2009

Sevren Ni-Arb and Raive Yarx met at Sevren´s place on March 15th to create ideas and materials for a new approach and draw the conclusion: XMTP will be back with a new album which will allready be released 2009.
 
There has been an album title in Sevren´s mind for a long time, which will be the conceptional base. Sevren and Raive have begun to design and construct first contents and have discussed ideas for the musical style. First steps have already been made.
 
I spent a great weekend with Raive. We started making plans for the future from the first moment never pausing on footsteps in the past. Now we are looking forward to a lot of creative work!

04.03.2009 | OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: March 15th - DAY OF DECISION - XMTP BACK in 2009 ???
During the release of the complete xmtp-backcatalogue via Infacted Digital Division there were also rumors that I have started music-production again. So I think it´s time to tell you something more, because the truth is somewhere in between:
 
1. Yes, I´ve started arranging new music infrastructure in my home and I´ve also started first creative steps with it...
2. Yes, there is an album title in my mind for a long, long time…
3. But NO, I´ve not decided finally to compose a complete new xmtp-album, yet.
 
Next week –on march 15th– Raive and I will meet and talk about a new approach, we will talk about milestones, concept & ideas, musical flows and so on...
After that we will decide if we want to go on further with xmtp.
 
So please be still patient at least for a few days.

30.07.2004 | STUDIO
Last month I met AL/X/S - you know him from U-TEK and A-HEAD - in his small Studio in Hamburg. He is still very active in making music (different styles). I was two days in Hamburg and of course >>> we startet a small studio session!!! More infos later on this place. In the last weeks we often get some offers to make concerts (United States, Germany, Israel,...) Thank you all for keeping the name xmtp alive, but at the moment it´s impossible to plan a tour or concerts.

30.07.2004 | AFTER 15 YEARS!
In spring I met two of my best schoolfriends on a party and we decided to plan a meeting together with our friend Jörg (Regan Eracs). Last week the day has come and we met in small Bar in Münster. So after 15 years it was the first time I met the former member of xmtp. It was a very funny and interesting day. We all had a lot to tell and so we decided to meet again.

30.07.2004 | STILL ALIVE
Time is running definetly too fast, but you know that theres is a complete album about the circumstances of life with time by xmtp - "drawback". My two boys "Lennard Christian" and "Luis Maximilian" are growing day by day. Lennard is now 3 years old and Luis is one year old. So family-life is beside my company the prior "time-killer" (of cousre with a positive meaning). Perhaps you have read that the mother of the label dying culture (the label where "experiences" - the latest best of album by x-marks the pedwalk has been released) isn´t active anymore (bankrupcy). I was very angry about this situation and the completely unprofessional dealing... Okay time is going on and I´m happy that I must not earn money with music... But with this circumstances more and more ideas are coming up in my head and so at the moment I´m very active in planning and constructing new ideas and possibilities... so keep your eyes open.

01.07.2003 | IMPORTANT NOTE!
Dying Culture... That´s the reason why there is another delay for the release date of x-marks the pedwalk´s "experiences". After some negotiation DYING CULTURE have left their former labelhome UCMG. From now on they´ll be part of the "Mole Music labelgroup".New release date that hopefully will be confirmed soon will be end of july / beginning of august. 02.05.2003 | EXPERIENCES
x-marks the pedwalk will release the ultimate retrospective "experiences" on Dying Culture. The final release date is confirmed: 12.05.2003. "experiences" will contain all singles, certain club-hits but also unreleased material: .„Bloom“ – this song was the latest xmtp-track I produced at T.G.I.F. It was recorded 1 year after drawback. That´s the reason why this song has been never release so far. „Hothead“ – was recorded during the production of drawback. But it never fit really in the sound-design-concept of drawback. „Here I stay“ was recorded during meshwork and there is „under glass“ that was recorded during the killing had begun and we have performed live once - I think it was in Prague, but we never decided to release on any compilation or so. Behind these real new tracks there are unreleased or rare versions/mixes and edits of for example „missing light“. you will find the tracklist and the cover of "experiences" here.

You will find an xmtp-interviews in the actual issue of "sideline" the belgium music magazine. this is the first interview after a very long period. Next interviews will appear in the following music magazines: "Orkus", "Zillo" and "Industrial Nation". The most asked questions of course are "What are the reasons to end music production?" and "What are the reasons to release <experiences>?" After a long time I´m now proud that xmtp.de is relaunched - sorry for the dealy. As mentioned on the homepage - this website is for you.
