XMTP LIVE ON STAGE
After the first album "freaks" we started
our first real xmtp-tour through germany with a special
concert in budapest. The very first live-concert of
xmtp was in "Haus der Jugend - Wiesbaden"
in 1989 (16.12.1989). XMTP has been the support of a
concert by the famous "Vomito Negro". On this
concert we have just released the single "arbitrary
execution" that´s the reason why we performed
(only once in our lives) scarecrow-material specially
rearranged and remixed for this concert.
For each tour I re-arranged some tracks special for
the tour or added some extra-sequences, introducings,
sound-effects. We never played the complete instruments
live (we were only two guys on the stage) but we had
a half-playback on DAT and played a lot of instrument
live as overdubs, drum-effects, lead-melodies, atmospheres
adn of course the vocals were live.
