SEVREN NI-ARB
Founder, songwriter, vocalist, producer, and engineer
The name "Sevren" is backwards for "nerves"
and "ni-arb" is backwards for brain. I´ve
founded x-marks the pedalk in 1987 together with regan
eracs. I´m the songwriter (music and lyrics),
producer and engineer of all xmtp-tracks. When I was
8 years old I´ve got my first piano lessons. Later
I´ve played an electronic organ. I was very interested
in electronic music and I was fascinated by synthesizers.
My favourite bands in the past were DAF, Kraftwerk,
Depeche Mode, Front 242, Skinny Puppy... When I was
16 I´ve got my first synthesizer - it was a legendary Korg MS-20.
After I´ve founded the T.G.I.F.-studios in 1992
music was my profession for a very long
time. Beside xmtp I was producer of bands like Armageddon
Dildos, Steril, Eco, Orange Sector...) and I also constructed a lot
of side-projects like Hyperdex-1-sect, Pax, U-Tek, A-Head,
Ringtailed Snorter.
Today I am a managing director of two companies – that means I spend a lot of time in business. One company is located in Münster and the other in Essen. Estefania - secondary vocalist of xmtp - is my wife and we
have two sons. We are living in the near of Münster
in a small town and a little house...
